Now this is our kinda found footage.
The very same year they released their own Killer Klowns from Outer Space, the Chiodo Brothers handled the special effects for Mick Garris’ Critters 2: The Main Course, which turns 30 years old this month. In celebration, the newly relaunched Fangoria just got their hands on some behind the scenes footage we’ve NEVER seen before.
They write over on Facebook, “This is HUGE! We asked special effects guru Stephen Chiodo of Chiodo Bros. Productions, Inc. if they had any remnants from CRITTERS II lying around the studio. They delivered big time. Here’s some behind-the-scenes footage they shot from THE MAIN COURSE!”
The footage, which runs nearly 4-minutes, shows the brothers and their team testing out various effects-heavy sequences, and it’s pure gold for practical effects lovers!
