‘Downrange’ Poster Ready For Its Closeup
Shudder recently acquired Ryuhei Kitamura‘s Midnight Madness title Downrange, which I called “gloriously vicious and mean-spirited,” for release on their streaming service April 26, 2018. Now, here’s a brand new one-sheet that gets up close and personal with one of the college students.
In the throwback to 70’s thrillers:
“Six college students are carpooling cross-country when one of their tires blows out on a desolate stretch of country road. Getting out to fix the flat, they quickly discover that this was no accident. The tire was shot out. With their vehicle incapacitated, the group is pinned down and mercilessly attacked by an unseen assailant as they desperately attempt to find a way to escape.”
It stars newcomer Kelly Connaire, Stephanie Pearson (Insidious: Chapter 2), Rod Hernandez-Farella, Anthony Kirlew, Alexa Yeames (The CW’s The Originals), and Jason Tobias (ABC Television’s Notorious).
Kitamura directed the action-packed Japanese zombie film Versus, as well as Alive, Godzilla: Final Wars, Lionsgate’s Clive Barker adaptation of The Midnight Meat Train, and WWE’s slasher No One Lives.
The director of the Sharknado franchise is back with brand new shark attack movie Water Park Shark, and the film was released on Digital outlets at home for the 4th of July Weekend.

Al Kratina wrote the screenplay, with Anthony C. Ferrante (Sharknado) directing.
The cast also includes Matthew Dame, Kacie Patricia, Michael Shaun Sandy, Snow Feng, Hector Becerra, Brigdon York, Rob Eubanks, Camilla Bastos, and Giovanna McMaster.
