The Official ‘Tremors’ Fan Art Contest Celebrates Upcoming Release of New Sequel

The long-running Tremors franchise returns in just under a month with director Don Michael Paul’s Tremors: A Cold Day in Hell, the sixth installment to date. Michael Gross is of course back as Graboid slayer Burt Gummer for an all-new adventure, and he’s also offering up signed copies of the upcoming movie as part of an art contest!

The just launched Tremors Fan Art Contest is being judged by Michael Gross himself, and it aims to find the ultimate Tremors fans. Here’s the rundown of the rules:

1. Get your best Tremors fan artwork together and take a photo. You can submit as many photos as you like by the submission end date.

2. Come back from May 1- May 7 to vote for your favorites.

3. On May 8, the five submissions with the most votes will be shown to Burt Gummer himself, who will choose the grand prize winner.

4. The Grand Prize winner will be announced on May 15th.

The four finalists will each receive a signed copy of the new Tremors: A Cold Day in Hell on Blu-ray, DVD & Digital. The grand prize winner will receive a signed copy of Tremors: The Complete Collection. All copies will be signed by Michael Gross!

Check out some of the submitted pieces below.

In the new film, Burt Gummer (Michael Gross) and his son Travis Welker (Jamie Kennedy) find themselves up to their ears in Graboids and Ass-Blasters when they head to Canada to investigate a series of deadly giant-worm attacks. Arriving at a remote research facility in the artic tundra, Burt begins to suspect that Graboids are secretly being weaponized, but before he can prove his theory, he is sidelined by Graboid venom. With just 48 hours to live, the only hope is to create an antidote from fresh venom — but to do that, someone will have to figure out how to milk a Graboid!”

A Cold Day in Hell will be released on Blu-ray, DVD and Digital HD on May 1.
