We already know The Meg is huge, but this new image from Empire gives us some perspective as a human floats right alongside the massive shark.

“I mean, who doesn’t want to watch a movie about the biggest shark that’s ever existed? And I get to be in it? This is as good as it gets,” star Jason Statham told the magazine.

The Meg will swim into theaters on August 10, 2018.

“A deep-sea submersible—part of an international undersea observation program—has been attacked by a massive creature, previously thought to be extinct, and now lies disabled at the bottom of the deepest trench in the Pacific…with its crew trapped inside.
