Ryan will be playing Ben Hanscom, played as a kid by Jeremy Ray Taylor in last year’s IT.
Jessica Chastain has been confirmed as our adult Beverly Marsh, with Bill Hader on board as adult Richie Tozier and James McAvoy playing adult Bill Denbrough.

Gary Dauberman wrote the script.
Next year’s movie takes place 27 years after the first installment, with flashbacks to the ’80s. As adults, the Losers’ Club will resume their battle with the evil Pennywise.
