Fangoria’s Film Division Developing Grady Hendrix’s Pizza Delivery Horror Story, ‘Satanic Panic’

Not only has Dallas Sonnier’s Cinestate revived Fangoria for an in-print relaunch that’ll begin this coming October, but the Fangoria brand will also have its own film imprint. Deadline is reporting today that Fango’s film shingle has just acquired author Grady Hendrix’s spec Satanic Panic, with plans to turn it into a feature film.

A director hasn’t yet been hired, but the search is underway.

Satanic Panic is described as a dark comedy in a supernatural setting…

A pizza delivery girl at the end of her financial rope has to fight for her life — and her tips — when her last order of the night turns out to be high society Satanists in need of a virgin sacrifice.

Sonnier will produce with Aperture Entertainment’s Adam Goldworm and Cinestate’s Amanda Presmyk. Phil Nobile Jr. is on board to executive produce.
