After being acquired out of the Sundance Film Festival, Neon is slicing and dicing into theaters with their ultra-violent Assassination Nation, which they’ll release on September 21.
The film gets a brand new, Red Band trailer today, and it’s home to Purge-like insanity that’s fueled by an anonymous hacker who exposes the secrets of the town’s residents.
“This is a thousand percent a true story about how the quiet, all-American town of Salem, absolutely lost its mind.”
Fred Topel reviewed the film after its World Premiere, promising “it does not disappoint.”
