Light and Dark Collide on Official ‘The Nun’ Poster
Bloody Disgusting is the first to receive the brand new official one-sheet for New Line Cinema’s The Nun, which will kick off the San Diego Comic-Con tonight as part of their annual ScareDiego.
The poster juxtaposes light and dark, showing a photo of star Taissa Farmiga that’s burning to reveal Bonnie Aarons‘ title character, who first appeared in James Wan‘s The Conjuring 2. It’s either a simple analogy or there’s an implication that maybe Farmiga’s character becomes the Nun, somehow? Maybe she gets possessed?
Jimmy Champane was lucky enough to visit the set during filming and spoke with director Corin Hardy, as well as the cast. You can read several reports from the set by clicking here.
In The Nun…
“When a young nun at a cloistered abbey in Romania takes her own life, a priest with a haunted past and a novitiate on the threshold of her final vows are sent by the Vatican to investigate. Together they uncover the order’s unholy secret. Risking not only their lives but their faith and their very souls, they confront a malevolent force in the form of the same demonic nun that first terrorized audiences in The Conjuring 2, as the abbey becomes a horrific battleground between the living and the damned.”
The Nun stars Oscar-nominated Demian Bichir (“A Better Life”) as Father Burke, Taissa Farmiga (TV’s “American Horror Story”) as Sister Irene, Jonas Bloquet (Elle) as local villager Frenchie, Charlotte Hope (TV’s “Game of Thrones”) as the abbey’s Sister Victoria, Ingrid Bisu (“Toni Erdmann”) as Sister Oana, and Bonnie Aarons, reprising her Conjuring 2 role as the title character.
Say your prayers as The Nun returns to theaters on September 7, 2018.

‘Fall 2: Deadpoint’ – New Poster Promises Brand New Trailer Tomorrow
The Fall franchise heads to a new location with new characters in the upcoming Fall 2: Deadpoint, and a brand new official poster has been unleashed this morning.
Additionally, a new Fall 2 trailer is promised for tomorrow. Stay tuned.
Releasing in theaters on September 2, 2026, horror sequel Fall 2: Deadpoint is rated PG-13 for “strong language, some violent content/bloody images and drug material.”
Harriet Slater (Tarot) stars in the upcoming Fall 2: Deadpoint alongside Arsema Thomas (“Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story”) and Tom Brittney (Greyhound).
Michael & Peter Spierig (Predestination, Jigsaw) direct Fall 2: Deadpoint from a script by Fall writers Scott Mann (who also directed the original) and Jonathan Frank.
From the survival hit that tapped into the fear of heights and left friends stranded at the top of a tower comes a climb that goes higher, gets deadlier, and hits with next-level adrenaline.
In Fall 2: Deadpoint, two friends take on new heights in Thailand, where unpredictable terrain, extreme exposure, and nowhere to hide push survival further than ever before.
Overwhelmed by her sister Hunter’s death, Jax (Slater) connects with Luce (Thomas), Hunter’s fearless friend. To heal, they attempt the infamous plank walk of Mount Kwan in Thailand.
After a sudden rockslide leaves them stranded on a fragile plank 3000 feet in the air, Jax must confront her deepest fears and fight for survival to find closure.
Fall 3 has already been greenlit, with Mann returning to the director’s chair. The first Fall was a surprise hit in theaters, scaring up $18 million at the worldwide box office back in 2022.
