‘Killer Klowns from Outer Space’ Live-to-Film Concert Event Going On Tour and Now Taking Bookings

Published

We’re excited to learn today that Knight Entertainment Group is representing film composer John Massari’s Killer Klowns from Outer Space Live-to-Film Concert throughout USA, Canada, UK and Europe, a special concert event wherein Massari conducts the score LIVE while you watch the film. And the package deal includes an appearance from The Dickies!

It’s all part of a 30th anniversary celebration of the cult classic horror-comedy, which kicked off in Hollywood last month with a live-to-film concert that tore the house down.

How it works is that venues can now book the event, with or without Massari himself conducting. And fans are encouraged to request the event from their local orchestras.

“The Kosmic Klown circus celebration begins with stilt walkers, balloon folding artists, contortionists, fortune tellers, strong men and women, magicians, body art, fan arts and crafts, and of course the Killer Klowns. Pre show Q&A and Meet and Greets; as well as members of The Dickies, American Punk Rock band, and composer John Massari.

Film screening with its original musical score performed live by your orchestra or symphony. By your option, to be conducted by Massari himself. And finally to the delight of hardcore fans of the film, LA’s very own original punk rockers, The Dickies, will perform their enduring classic Killer Klowns From Outer Space theme song.”

The live-to-film event can be booked now through Knight Entertainment Group.

Sleepy Hollow movie

Paramount is heading to Sleepy Hollow with a brand new feature film take on the classic Headless Horseman tale, with Lindsey Anderson Beer (Pet Sematary: Bloodlines) announced to direct the movie back in 2022. But is that project still happening, now two years later?

The Hollywood Reporter lets us know this afternoon that Paramount Pictures has renewed its first-look deal with Lindsey Anderson Beer, and one of the projects on the upcoming slate is the aforementioned Sleepy Hollow movie that was originally announced two years ago.

THR details, “Additional projects on the development slate include… Sleepy Hollow with Anderson Beer attached to write, direct, and produce alongside Todd Garner of Broken Road.”

You can learn more about the slate over on The Hollywood Reporter. It also includes a supernatural thriller titled Here Comes the Dark from the writers of Don’t Worry Darling.

The origin of all things Sleepy Hollow is of course Washington Irving’s story “The Legend of Sleepy Hollow,” which was first published in 1819. Tim Burton adapted the tale for the big screen in 1999, that film starring Johnny Depp as main character Ichabod Crane.

More recently, the FOX series “Sleepy Hollow” was also based on Washington Irving’s tale of Crane and the Headless Horseman. The series lasted four seasons, cancelled in 2017.
