Known to horror fans for his starring role as Aaron Boone in 1990’s Clive Barker-directed Nightbreed, we’ve learned today that actor Craig Sheffer will be making his return to the world of horror in Gregory Lamberson’s Widow’s Point, an adaptation of the supernatural book co-written by Richard Chizmar and his son Billy.
Variety reports that Lamberson (Slime City) will direct the film from his own screenplay.
“Widow’s Point depicts the tale of an author who spends a weekend locked in a haunted lighthouse as a publicity stunt to promote his next book. Cut off from the outside world, he finds himself targeted by sinister forces. The film takes place in four different time periods.”
The cast also includes Willow Xylia Anwar, Kaelin Lamberson, Billy Chizmar, KateLynn E. Newberry, Richard Satterwhite, Janel Tanna, Michael Thurber, Dominic Luongo and John Renna.
