David Koepp has written no shortage of high profile movies over the years, including Death Becomes Her, Jurassic Park, Carlito’s Way, Mission: Impossible, Stir of Echoes, Spider-Man and Panic Room, and he’s just penned his debut novel, titled Cold Storage.
Via Collider, Paramount has scooped up the rights to adapt the novel into a feature film.
Of the plot details, the site notes…
“It’s about a virus stored in a government facility that gets out and wreaks havoc on the world.”
They add that Koepp is expected to write and produce the film.
First up, the novel will be published next year by HarperCollins’ Ecco Press.
