Bloody Disgusting has confirmed that LD Entertainment’s remake of the 1990 psychological thriller Jacob’s Ladder will, in fact, be in theaters February 1, 2019, although we’re told a new date could be set within the next few weeks. Watch this spot.

David M. Rosenthal directs the re-imagining, which stars Michael Ealy (Underworld: Awakening), Guy Burnet (“Ray Donovan”), Karla Souza (How to Get Away with Murder) and Nicole Beharie (“Sleepy Hollow”)

In the original film, “…a haunted Vietnam War veteran attempts to discover his past while suffering from a severe case of dissociation. To do so, he must decipher reality and life from his own dreams, delusion, and perception of death.

Scripted by Jeff Buhler and Sarah Thorp, this version is a modern day paranoid action thriller about two brothers.
