One of 2018’s best horror films so far is no doubt David Bruckner‘s The Ritual, which debuted on Netflix early in the year. Previously, Bruckner had directed The Signal, the “Amateur Night” segment in our V/H/S, and the segment “The Accident” in our Southbound, and THR reports today that he’s next headed into The Night House.
David Goyer’s Phantom Four and Anton Corp. have joined forces on the project, a supernatural thriller that Bruckner will direct. The script was penned by Ben Collins and Luke Piotrowski, who wrote Super Dark Times and Stephanie.
“Plot details are being kept secret but House is known to center on a widow who begins to uncover her deceased husband’s disturbing secrets.”
Goyer and Phantom Four’s Keith Levine will produce.
