Another New ‘Venom’ Poster Arrives as Director Teases Potential Unrated Cut and Post-Credits Scene

Even with its PG-13 rating, we can’t wait to see Ruben Fleischer’s Venom bring monster carnage to the big screen next month, but we also can’t help but wonder what will become of all the good stuff that’s been cut by Sony in order to get that rating. After all, Fleischer shot the film with an “R” rating in mind, so an “Unrated” cut is the hope for home video.

Speaking with Fandango, Fleischer just kinda-sort-maybe teased that potential.

I wouldn’t rule anything out,” Fleischer told the site, when asked about an unrated cut for home video. “We’ll have to see where it lands, I guess, but I wouldn’t rule anything out.”

Fleischer also teased a post-credits scene in the same chat, telling the site “I think it would be a mistake of any superhero movie not to stay through the credits.”

Check out the latest poster below.

Venom will make his solo feature film debut on October 5, 2018.
