With Canadian thriller Trench 11 extending its run in select Cineplex theatres across Canada (it’s available on VOD here in the States as of early this month), we’ve learned today that co-writer and director Leo Scherman has lined up his next production.
Scherman will direct the crime thriller Goner, from Canadian writer Milan Tomasevic.
Described as a gritty character study, Goner is about a paramedic moonlighting as an opioid dealer who plans a violent pharma-storage ambush.
Trench 11 producer, Tyler Levine of Carousel Pictures will produce Goner, slated for a winter 2019 shoot in Ontario.
