One of last year’s most underrated horror films was the Stephen King adaptation 1922, which featured a career-best performance from Thomas Jane and was directed by Zak Hilditch. Collider reports tonight that Netflix and Hilditch are re-teaming for another horror film, titled Rattlesnake and with Carmen Ejogo (Selma, The Purge: Anarchy) set to star.
The site notes that the film “will find Ejogo playing a single mother who accepts the help of a mysterious woman after her daughter is bitten by a rattlesnake. She soon finds herself forced to pay back her “debt” by taking the life of a total stranger in the rural town of Tulia, Texas.”
Theo Rossi (Sons of Anarchy) and Emma Greenwell (Shameless) co-star.
Ross Dinerstein is producing.
