Don Johnson (“Miami Vice”, “Watchmen”) is close to joining Media Rights Capital’s Rian Johnson murder mystery whodunit Knives Out, reports Deadline.
The Django Unchained and “Miami Vice” actor joins a growing cast that includes Daniel Craig, Chris Evans, Michael Shannon, Lakeith Stanfield, and Ana De Armas.
Johnson’s role is being kept under wraps, which is the case with the film’s storyline and its dramatis personae, although pegged as a “contemporary version of the locked door mansion murder mystery.”
Production begins next month on the independent feature.
