One aspect of Dennis Widmyer and Kevin Kolsch’s re-adaptation of Pet Sematary that was not present in Stephen King’s novel or the 1989 film adaptation, as spotted in the new movie’s first trailer, is a group of young kids in creepy animal masks, possibly the original kids who built the titular “sematary.” We won’t find out what’s up with them until next year, but this week brings a new “3D photo” of the creepy kids, which you can check out below.

John Lithgow takes over the role of Jud Crandall, played in the original adaptation by the late Fred Gwynne. Twins Hugo Lavoie and Lucas Lavoie play Gage Creed, with Jeté Laurence taking on the role of Ellie Creed. Jason Clarke (Winchester) and Amy Seimetz (Alien: Covenant, A Horrible Way to Die) are our new Louis and Rachel Creed. Young actress Alyssa Brooke Levine has been cast as our new Zelda, with Obssa Ahmed playing Victor Pascow.
