‘Martyrs’ Remake Directors Return with ‘A Violent Separation’ [Poster]

Martyrs remake directors Kevin and Michael Goetz are back with their next genre offering, A Violent Separation, starring Brenton Thwaites, Alycia Debnam-Carey, Ted Levine, and Gerald McRaney.

In the film acquired by Screen Media out of AFM, two brothers struggle with the terrible truth behind a tragedy that aims to tear three generations of a family apart:

“In a quiet, small town, lost in the vastness of the plains, a deputy named Norman Young covers up a murder at the hands of his brother, Ray. But neither of the young men are prepared for the passionate romance that blossoms between Norman and the victim’s younger sister, Frances. As the investigation withers, family bonds are tested as we descend into the depths of morality and loyalty, forced to bear witness to the violent separation of flesh and blood.”
