When we were on the set of Halloween, one thing about the film’s 40-years-later Michael Myers immediately stuck out to us. Actor James Jude Courtney was wearing a gnarly appliance over his left eye, a subtle but awesome little bit of continuity between the new film and the events of Halloween ’78, wherein Laurie stuck Michael in the eye with a clothes hanger.
In the film itself, this wound is barely ever visible, nor is Michael fully shown without his mask on. But thanks to a behind the scenes photo from the set that was just posted over on Reddit, we get a good look at James Jude Courtney with the eye appliance on, and without the mask.
