[Video] C.M. Punk Enters a Haunted House in First Clip from Upcoming Horror Film ‘Girl on the Third Floor’
With his wrestling career over, C.M. Punk is applying his talents to other art forms, including UFC fighting and acting. Punk will soon be seen in the Soska Sisters’ remake of Rabid, and he’s also just wrapped filming on another horror movie, Girl on the Third Floor.
Punk plays the lead role in the Queensbury Pictures horror film, the wirting/directorial debut of producer Travis Stevens (We Are Still Here). Check out the first clip below, via WGN Chicago.
“Punk stars as Don Koch, a man who is failing as a husband. He now views fixing up an old house as a chance to make up for past mistakes. Meanwhile, his wife, Liz Koch, is concerned about the renovation timeline as they have a baby on the way. As Don tears the house apart, it begins to tear him apart as well, revealing the rot behind the drywall.”
Trieste Dunn (Banshee), Elissa Dowling (We Are Still Here) and Sarah Brooks also star.
One of this summer’s most hotly anticipated new movies is A24 and Ti West’s MaXXXine, a follow-up to X and Pearl that brings Mia Goth’s title character into the 1980s.

Here’s the official plot synopsis from A24 this week: “In 1980s Hollywood, adult film star and aspiring actress Maxine Minx finally gets her big break. But as a mysterious killer stalks the starlets of Hollywood, a trail of blood threatens to reveal her sinister past.”
Last we saw Maxine in Ti West’s X (2022), she was the sole survivor of a massacre carried out by elderly couple Howard and Pearl in the Summer of ’79. Goth of course pulled double duty as the villain Pearl in that movie, who got her own origin story in Pearl (2022). Pearl and Maxine are different characters, but they share the common goal of wanting to be stars.
Will Maxine finally make it in Hollywood? Or will the demons of her past become her ultimate downfall? With the Night Stalker roaming free, we expect MaXXXine to get wild this summer.
