Before he entered the world of franchise horror with this year’s Leprechaun Returns, makeup artist and filmmaker Steven Kostanski co-directed the fan favorite, practical effects-heavy horror film The Void, and it seems he’s got another creature feature in the works!
In a chat with Horror Channel, Kostanski just teased his next project.
“I’m building creatures for a low budget film I wrote and am directing, the details of which I need to keep under wraps for now,” Kostanski told the site.
The site also asked Kostanski if he’d be up for directing a sequel to Leprechaun Returns, and he expressed that he’d be into it if the idea was right and the fans wanted it. “If the premise is cool and if the fans enjoy what I did with Leprechaun Returns – sure!” Kostanski noted.
Just don’t get your hopes up about The Void 2, which doesn’t seem to be happening.
