Just ahead of EFM we learned that Oscilloscope Laboratories has North American rights to Relaxer, a Y2K-themed horror comedy that played last year’s SXSW Film Festival.
“With the impending Y2K apocalypse fast approaching, Abbie is faced with the ultimate challenge – the unbeatable level 256 on Pac-Man – and he can’t get off the couch until he conquers it. A survival story set in a living room.”
Directed by Joel Potrykus, Relaxer stars Joshua Burge, David Dastmalchian, and Andre Hyland.
The film has played more than a dozen film festivals overs the past year.
