One of 2018’s best horror films was David Bruckner‘s The Ritual, which you can stream on Netflix. Previously, Bruckner had directed The Signal, the “Amateur Night” segment in our V/H/S, and the segment “The Accident” in our Southbound, and up next he’s headed into The Night House.
Deadline reports today that Rebecca Hall (The Gift) has been set to star in the supernatural thriller, which will begin shooting in May.
“Plot details are being kept secret but House is known to center on a widow who begins to uncover her deceased husband’s disturbing secrets.”
The script was penned by Ben Collins and Luke Piotrowski, who wrote Super Dark Times, Stephanie and our SiREN.
David S. Goyer and Phantom Four’s Keith Levine will produce.
