In John Wick, the murder of the title character’s dog sends him on a revenge-fueled mission to massacre everyone who wronged him. Scott Lobdell‘s next project flips that script, as the writer teased this week. In Odin, it’s the man who gets killed, and his dog who seeks revenge.
Lobdell, who created/wrote the first Happy Death Day but did not return to write this year’s Happy Death Day 2U, gave us the first taste of his latest project over on Instagram today.
“For everyone asking about my next project…I’ve written a graphic novel and feature script with my best friend John McLaughlin of Black Swan fame,” Lobdell announced. “ODIN is a revenge thriller in the vein of John Wick —if it was Wick who was murdered leaving the dog to seek vengeance against the killers!”
