Another New Image Shows Off David Harbour’s “Younger, Rougher” Version of ‘Hellboy’

How different will the title character be in Neil Marshall‘s upcoming rated “R” Hellboy vs. the version Ron Perlman played in Guillermo del Toro’s movies? Speaking with Empire, star David Harbour describes his version of the character as being “younger” and “rougher” than Perlman’s, while also noting that he didn’t want to in any way imitate Perlman’s performance.

[Perlman] does something quite extraordinary in those films that is very specific to him, and I did not want to imitate that in any way,” Harbour told Empire. “In our movie Hellboy’s younger. He’s rougher. He’s much more of a teenager. He’s really struggling with the idea of whether or not he’s a good person.”
