Deadline reports today that Amblin has hired Dean Israelite (Power Rangers) to write and direct Minotaur, a supernatural thriller that’s going to be set in Johannesburg.
The site adds, “Israelite and Aron Coleite fleshed out the story.”

Jennifer Todd is producing and Coleite will be an executive producer.
