CinemaCon has become the hub of hype and the footage Paramount debuted for Terminator: Dark Fate has turned a lot of heads this afternoon. Doubters have changed their tune and are touting some ridiculously cool footage from the sequel that boasts the return of franchise creator James Cameron (as producer).
This time directed by Deadpool‘s Tim Miller, it was revealed that this film’s big bad has quite the gimmick. Ignoring all sequels beyond Cameron’s T2: Judgment Day, the filmmakers look to up the ante with a Terminator that can “split in two”. Robert Patrick’s T-1,000 is a high bar to reach, yet the idea of a multiplying Terminator sounds terrifying.
