Sylvester Stallone is back one last time in this year’s Rambo V: Last Blood, and during the Lionsgate presentation at CinemaCon last night, the studio promised an unexpected finish.
Screen Rant’s Rob Keyes tweeted from CinemaCon last night, “Lionsgate boss Joe Drake on Rambo: Last Blood – Rambo is going out in a big way in something ‘truly unexpected’.”

In the fifth installment of the franchise, when the daughter of one of his friends is kidnapped, Rambo, who has been working on a ranch, crosses the U.S.-Mexican border and quickly finds himself up against the full might of one of Mexico’s most violent cartels.
Sergio Peris-Mencheta (“Snowfall”) will be playing Rambo’s latest adversary. The actor will play the cartel’s brutal leader, Hugo Martinez.
Yvette Monreal, Adriana Barraza, Paz Vega, Oscar Jaenada and Joaquin Cosio also star.
