Isaac Ezban, the talented filmmaker behind The Incident and Parallel, is one of the many interesting directors lending their talents to the forthcoming anthology Deathcember.
Bloody Disgusting has an exclusive first look at his story, “Villancicos”, about a family who has a young child in a coma. The only thing keeping him alive is… listening to Christmas carols. “They have to keep some Villancicos in his room next to him in order to keep him alive…. for a veeeery long time!” Ezban jokes with us.
Deathcember is an anthology that consists of 24 filmmakers from all over the world. All of the stories have one thing in common: they all deal with Christmas. The line-up of directors also includes Lucky McKee (The Woman), Trent Haaga (68 Kill), Lazar Bodroza (Ederlezi Rising), Sam Wineman (The Quiet Room), Ama Lea, Pollyanna McIntosh (Darlin’), Ruggero Deodato (Cannibal Holocaust) and many more.
