John Rambo sharpens his knife, picks up a big ass gun and handcrafts a deadly pitchfork(!) in these snippets of behind the scene footage from the set of Rambo V: Last Blood, shared in an Instagram video by Sylvester Stallone today. Stallone also notes that the marketing campaign is about to ramp up, which means a trailer can’t be too far behind!
In the fifth installment of the franchise, when the daughter of one of his friends is kidnapped, Rambo, who has been working on a ranch, crosses the U.S.-Mexican border and quickly finds himself up against the full might of one of Mexico’s most violent cartels.
Sergio Peris-Mencheta (“Snowfall”) will be playing Rambo’s latest adversary. The actor will play the cartel’s brutal leader, Hugo Martinez.
Yvette Monreal, Adriana Barraza, Paz Vega, Oscar Jaenada and Joaquin Cosio also star.
