Longtime fans of the Godzilla films are surely hoping that the big guy takes on his “Burning Godzilla”/”Fire Godzilla” form in Michael Dougherty‘s Godzilla: King of the Monsters, and as the Jakks toy line let us know a couple months back, Dougherty’s Godzilla will indeed be spending a portion of the film on fire. The latest TV spot teases that badass moment.
If you’re going to fight King Ghidorah, you’ve gotta bring the fire…
The sequel takes place five years after the events in the first film:
“When these ancient super-species—thought to be mere myths—rise again, they all vie for supremacy, leaving humanity’s very existence hanging in the balance.”
