One of the strangest films arriving this summer is Universal Pictures’ Ma, a new Blumhouse thriller starring Oscar winner Octavia Spencer as Sue Ann, a lonely older woman who opens her basement up to the new teenager in town (Diana Silvers, Glass) so she can party with her new friends.
We just got our hands on the full image gallery that has quite a few gems of Spencer’s psycho Ma.
The film also stars Juliette Lewis (August: Osage County, Natural Born Killers) as Maggie’s mom, Luke Evans (Beauty and the Beast, Dracula Untold) as a local dad, Missi Pyle(Gone Girl) as his girlfriend, and McKaley Miller (TV’s “Hart of Dixie”), Corey Fogelmanis (TV’s “Girl Meets World”), Gianni Paolo (TV’s “Power”) and Dante Brown(“Lethal Weapon” TV series) as Maggie’s friends.
Ma, in theaters May 31st, hails from Tate Taylor, the acclaimed director of The Help and Get On Up.
