Best known for creating the Final Destination franchise, Jeffrey Reddick has also written horror films like Tamara, 2008’s Day of the Dead and most recently The Final Wish, and up next he’s finally making his feature directorial debut with Good Samaritan, a revenge thriller.
THR reports that Kourtney Bell and Jeremy Holm (The Ranger, above) are starring in the film for Hood River Entertainment. Bell plays a young woman among several witnesses that see a man fatally assaulted in a park and do nothing to intervene. Soon they all find themselves targeted by someone, or something, out for revenge.
The cast also includes Skyler Hart, Will Stout, Jaqueline Fleming, Han Soto, Damon Lipari, Amanda Grace Benitez, Stephen Twardokus and Dean West.
Hood River Entertainment is producing Good Samaritan in association with Title Media, Storyteller Media and Setlife Films. Andrew van den Houten, Andy Steinman, Roman Dent and Ashleigh Snead are producing, while Gagan Lakhmna, Darryl Gariglio, Soto, Giles Daoust, Catherine Dumonceaux and Reddick will serve as executive producers.
