Modern movie posters that are true works of art… go figure.
In my 10+ years writing about movies, I’m not sure I’ve come across one with as many epic posters as Godzilla: King of the Monsters, which has been promoted these last several months with a nonstop stream of killer artwork. I’ve written so many “Godzilla posters” articles here on BD that I’ve lost count, and that’s only because there were so many we *had* to share.
With Godzilla, Ghidorah, Mothra and Rodan all in one movie, King of the Monsters had no shortage of cool imagery to pull from for its promo materials, and oh boy did the various artists and marketing folks do right by Michael Dougherty’s monster mash. Every single poster released was one that I wanted to hang on my wall, and that rarely happens these days.
No matter what you end up thinking about King of the Monsters, one thing you’ll never be able to take away from it is that the marketing materials, I can be pretty sure, got you HYPED.
But enough chit-chat. Here’s every epic KotM poster in one epic gallery of awesome!
