How do you bring a classic like Child’s Play into a whole new world? Well, Orion and director Lars Klevberg’s upcoming remake puts a high-tech spin on the original film; this time around, Chucky isn’t a doll infused with the spirit of a serial killer, but rather a “smart toy” gone haywire. And in 2019, Chucky can command countless other devices to aid in killing you.
This latest featurette video for the film digs into the modern day approach, featuring insights from stars Brian Tyree Henry and Aubrey Plaza, as well as the new film’s producers.
