Everyone’s a Bloodsucker in Glenn Danzig’s Vampire Spaghetti Western

We may never know the full story behind Glenn Danzig‘s directorial debut, Verotika, but one thing is for certain, he needs to surround himself with a better crew. Even though his anthology is being dubbed the next The Room, he’s already dead set on getting behind the camera for not one, but two more films.

He explained his plans last night in Los Angeles, reiterated what he told audiences at the World Premiere in Chicago earlier this month.

“My next film, which I’m hopefully starting this summer, is a vampire-spaghetti western,” Danzig stated, according to a transcript by EW.

While we’ve already known about the western for quite some time, he does reveal that the score is completed and that everyone in the film is a vampire.

“The soundtrack has been done for two years and of course it sounds almost exactly like an Ennio Morricone soundtrack. I think I’m actually going to do a small part in it too.

“Everybody in the movie is a vampire. So, you won’t have to wait around to see the vampire. They’re all fucking vampires!”

The news was met with “loud applause and cheers from the audience.”

Danzig’s Verotika has become an instant cult sensation and the talk of the town. For those who are dying to see it, the plan is for a theatrical run and VOD release this coming Halloween. We’ll have to see if this sticks.
