In the first trailer for Mark Allen Michaels‘ indie horror film Vampyrz on a Boat, couple Sara and Max’s (played by Carrie Keagan and Dallas Valdez, respectively) new whirlwind romance is interrupted by a vampire outbreak on a medical research ship. Max will stop at nothing to get back the girl of his dreams, even if it means several heads will roll.
The “Z” in “Vampyrz” is, I guess, because of the zombie-like outbreak? Michaels also directed Valentine DayZ, so maybe he’s just obsessed with ending film titles with “Z”?
Filmed on the iconic SS Lane Victory ship, the film also stars Curt Lambert, Diane Ayala Goldner, and Kendall Wells as the Master Vampire.
