The Midsommar (read our review) activities begin on July 3rd and A24 has sent Boody a huge batch of new images from Hereditary director Ari Aster‘s new film that all appear to be spoiler free (I haven’t seen it yet, so I’m not 100% certain).
In the film, “Dani (Florence Pugh) and Christian (Jack Reynor) are a young American couple with a relationship on the brink of falling apart.
“But after a family tragedy befalls Dani, grief keeps them together, and Dani invites herself to join Christian and his friends on a trip to a once-in-a-lifetime midsummer festival in a remote Swedish village.
“What begins as a carefree summer adventure in a land of eternal sunlight takes a sinister turn when the insular villagers invite their guests to partake in festivities that render the pastoral paradise increasingly unnerving and viscerally disturbing.”
The film also stars William Jackson Harper, Vilhelm Blomgran, Archie Madekwe, Ellora Torchia, and Will Poulter.
