Mary Elizabeth Winstead is the title character in Netflix‘s upcoming Kate, a female assassin who has just 24 hours to get vengeance on her murderer before she dies.
Wait. Her murderer…? Yup. She’s not dead yet, but she’s been poisoned and soon will be.
Deadline reports today that Woody Harrelson has joined the actress in the action-revenge-thriller, being directed by Cedric Nicolas-Troyan (The Huntsman: Winter’s War).
“Kate follows a ruthless criminal operative — who has been irreversibly poisoned — that has less than 24 hours to exact revenge on her enemies and in the process forms an unexpected bond with the daughter of one of her past victims.”
