Ten years after the release of Zombieland, Ruben Fleischer‘s sequel Zombieland 2: Double Tap will reunite the 2009 film’s four stars on October 18, 2019. While Sony doesn’t have a presence at the ongoing San Diego Comic-Con, they’ve released the first official teaser art, which means… trailer soon!
In this next installment, through comic mayhem that stretches from the White House and through the heartland, the zombie slayers must face off against many new kinds of zombies that have evolved since the first movie, as well as some new human survivors. But most of all, they have to face the growing pains of their own snarky, makeshift family. The art gives us a taste of the road trip horror-comedy.
Emma Stone, Woody Harrelson, Jesse Eisenberg, and Abigail Breslin are all reprising their roles, with Zoey Deutch, Avan Jogia, Luke Wilson and Rosario Dawson joining them.
The script is by the original film’s scribes, Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese, both of whom will also serve as exec producers. Gavin Polone is also returning to produce the film.
Get ready for seconds…
