Quentin Tarantino Recently Talked ‘Kill Bill Vol. 3’ with Uma Thurman

It’s been 15 years since Uma Thurman‘s The Bride/Beatrix Kiddo/Black Mamba got her revenge in Kill Bill, but there’s still a third story to be told.

Four years ago, Tarantino revealed his aspirations for another Kill Bill, explaining that he’s always felt that Uma Thurman’s character, Beatrix, deserved a break from the hell she’s been put through.

“There’s definitely a possibility — stop short of saying a probability,” Tarantino had told What The Flick?! in 2015. “I put the character of Beatrix Kiddo through a lot, and so I wanted her to have this much time for peace. I wanted her to have some time with her daughter and not have to be in the genre machine.

“She can actually enjoy her life for awhile,” he added before confirming that it would take place during a modern time period.

Now, in a new interview, Tarantino tells the Happy Sad Confused podcast that he recently chatted with Thurman about the possibilities of another film.

“Me and Uma have talked about it recently, frankly, to tell you the truth,” Tarantino revealed. “I have thought about it a little further. We were talking about it literally last week. If any of my movies were going to spring from my other movies, it would be a third Kill Bill.”

But don’t get too excited as Tarantino has also recently stated that his next film could be his last. Time will tell if this holds true.

As for Kill Bill, Tarantino had once teased it as a potential reverse revenge story, where one of the characters from the first two volumes seeks revenge on The Bride. What do you think?
