Ahead of the theatrical release, Syfy shares a new clip from the film today, wherein Michael Ealy‘s Jacob Singer learns of an experimental new drug that’s wreaking havoc on war vets.

The plot sounds a bit different than the original film’s, but it looks like the new movie will be home to similar nightmare imagery. In Rosenthal’s Jacob’s Ladder, “After losing his brother in combat, Jacob Singer returns home from Afghanistan — only to be pulled into a mind-twisting state of paranoia. Singer soon realizes that his sibling is alive but life is not what it seems.”
