The teaser trailer for Rambo: Last Blood debuted back in May, setting the stage for Sylvester Stallone‘s return as John Rambo without really showing off any of the gorier bits that are gonna get our asses in theaters this September. But have no fear, because the film has officially received its hard “R” rating from the MPAA and the full trailer is on the way next week!
Stallone revealed that the new trailer will debut on his Instagram page on Tuesday, August 20.
Needless to say, be sure to follow Stallone so it pops up in your feed.
In the fifth installment of the franchise, when the daughter of one of his friends is kidnapped, Rambo (Stallone), who has been working on a ranch, crosses the U.S.-Mexican border and quickly finds himself up against the full might of one of Mexico’s most violent cartels.
Sergio Peris-Mencheta (“Snowfall”) will be playing Rambo’s latest adversary. The actor will play the cartel’s brutal leader, Hugo Martinez.
Yvette Monreal, Adriana Barraza, Paz Vega, Oscar Jaenada and Joaquin Cosio also star.
