Pre-production is now underway on a new horror film titled My Last Halloween, with Saw franchise actress Shawnee Smith starring. Newcomer Dustin Nichols will also star.
Written and directed by Jeff Gress, the film will center on Kevin Preston (Nichols), who is abducted and held captive by a sadistic killer on Halloween night.
Smith will be playing Pam Preston, Kevin’s mother.
“To be a part of this film is truly a dream come true,” said Nichols. “I’m a fan of Shawnee Smith’s work and actually watched the SAW movies growing up. To be able to work with her on a horror film is an opportunity I’m tremendously grateful for. I can’t wait to create a horror film that fans really love. Not a movie full of jump scares, but a movie with great story, thought-out characters, and gore. Lots of it.”
My Last Halloween will soon film in Georgia.
