Sounds Like John Carpenter is Scoring ‘Halloween Kills’ and ‘Halloween Ends’

One of the coolest things about Halloween (2018) is that it brought John Carpenter back into the fold, not just as creative consultant and exec producer but also as composer. The horror master, along with son Cody Carpenter and Daniel Davies, provided a brand new score for the film, and it sounds like he’ll be back for more with Halloween Kills and Halloween Ends!

I loved it, It was a lot of fun,” Carpenter just told ComicBook.com, talking about his experience scoring David Gordon Green’s Halloween. He continued, seeming to confirm that he’ll be back for the two upcoming sequels: “And I’ll do the score, do a new score. That’s always fun.”

I’m on board. Let’s go,” Carpenter added. It’s a bit hard to tell based on these quotes if this is all set in stone, but the site makes it clear that Carpenter confirmed his involvement to them.

Halloween Kills will arrive in theaters on October 16, 2020 followed by Halloween Ends on October 15, 2021, with Jamie Lee Curtis starring and Gordon Green directing.
