Originally set for release March 2020, we’ve learned today that Leigh Whannell‘s new take on The Invisible Man for Blumhouse and Universal will now release on February 28, 2020.
Oliver Jackson-Cohen (“The Haunting of Hill House”) is set to star as the title character.
The cast also includes Elisabeth Moss, Storm Reid, Aldis Hodge and Harriet Dyer.
Whannell’s The Invisible Man follows Cecilia (Moss), who receives the news of her abusive ex-boyfriend’s suicide. She begins to re-build her life for the better. However, her sense of reality is put into question when she begins to suspect her deceased lover is not actually dead.
The lower-budget film from Blumhouse and Universal is said to be character driven and scary.
