Willem Dafoe and Robert Pattinson Drive Each Other Mad in New Trailer for ‘The Lighthouse’

A24 has released “Official Trailer 2” for The Lighthouse, the new movie from The Witch writer/director Robert Eggers. The film stars Willem Dafoe and Robert Pattinson as two lighthouse keepers losing their grip on reality. A24 describes it as “a hypnotic and hallucinatory tale of two lighthouse keepers on a remote and mysterious New England island in the 1890s.”
“This is certainly a film that will stick around in people’s heads for a long, long time,” Serena wrote in her review for us out of Cannes, awarding the film 5/5 skulls.

The film, written by Robert Eggers & Max Eggers and also starring Valeriia Karaman, will be released on October 18, 2019 in NY & LA, with an expansion to follow.

New Line’s ‘Companion’ from ‘Barbarian’ Team Releasing in 2025
From New Line Cinema and producer Zach Cregger (Director: Barbarian) comes the upcoming sci-fi/horror movie Companion, which has been dated for theatrical release.
Companion will be released into theaters on January 10, 2025.
Companion has been rated “R” by the MPA for…
“Strong violence, sexual content, and language throughout.”
The film’s cast includes Sophie Thatcher (“Yellowjackets,” The Boogeyman) alongside Rupert Friend (Separation), Harvey Guillén (“What We Do in the Shadows”), Lukas Gage (“You”), Megan Suri (It Lives Inside), and Jack Quaid (Scream, “The Boys”).
Described as a sci-fi/horror movie, Companion will mark the directorial debut of Drew Hancock, who also wrote the script. At this time, plot details are under wraps.
