We’ve been told to expect a much different take on the T-800 we’re all familiar with when Arnold Schwarzenegger reprises the iconic role in director Tim Miller‘s Terminator: Dark Fate later this year. Miller recently stated, “I really thought that the way to do something unique for this film was to have Arnold’s backstory and the way he interacts with the rest of the characters be something we hadn’t seen from that character before.” He also noted, “I don’t think people will be ready for what Arnold has become either, because it’s very different.”
We bring this up today because Schwarzenegger has shared a brand new character poster from Dark Fate, giving us a new look at his character’s return. You can check it out below.
In Dark Fate, “Sarah Connor and a hybrid cyborg human must protect a young girl from a newly modified liquid Terminator from the future.”
Mackenzie Davis, Linda Hamilton, Natalia Reyes, Gabriel Luna and Edward Furlong also star.
Paramount is releasing Tim Miller‘s sequel to T2 on November 1st, 2019.
