Thanks in part to a massively successful crowd-funding campaign, Damien Leone‘s Terrifier 2 will soon be bringing Art the Clown back to life, with David H. Thornton reprising the role.
We’ve learned this week that actress Lauren LaVera (Clinton Road) has also joined the cast, signing on to play the sequel’s female lead opposite Thornton’s Art the Clown.
In the upcoming sequel:
After being resurrected by a sinister entity, Art the Clown returns to Miles County where he must hunt down and destroy a teenage girl and her younger brother on Halloween.
“Can’t wait for you guys to see the epic insanity we have in store!” the team teases.
An October 2020 release is currently being eyed.
